My Services

I would be more than happy to meet up for an initial free consultation to talk about my services and answer any questions that you might have.

Birth Pack

I will provide you with a pack of useful information, references and contact details of other support services offered to you in your area which will hopefully assist you in your preparation for your birth.
This pack will also include information that might benefit you postnatally i.e. mum and baby classes, breastfeeding cafes etc.

Antenatal support

I normally provide a couple of antenatal visits where we can chat about previous birth experiences (if applicable), your expectations, birth preferences, birth physiology, optimum foetal positions (OFP’s), exercises and anything else you would like to know more about. During these visits, it would also be beneficial to meet your husband / partner (if you are having them attend the birth) as I am there to support them as well.

Postnatal support

I can assist and provide practical and emotional support with breastfeeding, light housework, accompany you to Doctor’s appointments, assist with shopping and help you learn to adapt to your new way of life as a mum! Finally, I am also more than happy to just be someone to talk to and help out wherever I can – even if it is making you a cup of tea or holding your precious new baby whilst you enjoy a well-deserved bubble bath!
I would also be honoured to support mums / parents who are in the process of or have already adopted a newborn baby.

Night Work

I am available to support you with overnight work during the first 6 - 8 weeks. Please do contact me for further information.

Birth Package

Includes a couple of antenatal visits, on-call* 24hrs a day from 14 days before your due date until your baby arrives, the entire birth** and one postnatal visit.

Notes:
*I will be on call 24-hours from 14 days before your due date until your baby arrives and you can call me at any time of the day or night (most calls are during the night as this is when our little darlings decide to grace us with their presence, so please don’t feel that you can’t call!!!)
** I will be on hand to provide continuous physical and emotional support from the moment you call to say your labour has started and would like me there with you. Whether your labour takes a couple of hours or days, I will not leave your side and will stay with you for a few hours after the birth to make sure you are comfortable and settled!!!! I also have a Helios Homeopathic Birth Kit which you could use as well.

Experience With

Multiples (twins / triplets)
Premature babies
Babies born with disabilities
Babies born with feeding difficulties
I also volunteer on the postnatal ward at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital supporting mums with breastfeeding

Throughout all of the above, you are more than welcome to contact me via telephone and/or e-mail as often as you need and I will be more than happy to have a chat or answer any questions, concerns or queries you may have and I will help you get the information you have requested!
For details of my availability, further information and prices, please contact me.

Maisie Villegas, Alison Silvester and I frequently work together, either backing each other up or by offering shared care to mums-to-be. We find this reassuing and a great support for our client's as well as each other.

As I am a member of Doula UK, I also have access to a Hardship Fund which has a budget to assist Doulas that work for clients in their local community who do not have the means to employ a Doula. Please email me to find out more information.
